Модуль Cisco EHWIC-4G-LTE-G поддерживает 4G интернет путем беспроводного подключения через встроенный 4G LTE WWAN модем. Скорость, обеспечиваемая этим устройством, может достигать 100 Мбит/с по нисходящей линии и 50 Мбит/с по входящей линии. 
 
Особенности данного модуля:
 
Данный модуль предназначен для осуществления подключения к глобальной сети как в качестве основного соединения WAN, так и, при возникновении критических ситуаций и перебоев в связи, в качестве резервного канала. Модуль поддерживает ISR G2 платформу (серии Cisco 1900, Cisco 2900, Cisco 3900). 
 
Устройство поддерживает General Packet Radio Services и предполагает повышенную скорость передачи данных. Cisco EHWIC-4G-LTE-Gдопускает наличие двух, параллельно соединенных антенн, расположенных на расстоянии друг от друга не менее 19см для лучшего RF-приема. Данная модель поддерживает несколько операционных служб для комфортного использования устройства в разных частях мира (возможность отправки SMS, EDGE-услуги и наличие автономного GPS). Также Cisco EHWIC-4G-LTE-G отличается высокоскоростным пакетным доступом HSPA (в том числе, пакетными доступами HSDPA и HSUPA), а также наличием универсального интерфейса для использования мобильной связи.
